PTT Kargo for Pano Market

PTT Kargo is the Turkish postal carrier. This plugin adds it as a shipping provider to Pano Market, which must be installed and running: it is a required dependency of this plugin.

What it supports

  • Creating a shipment from the Pano panel for a parcel inside Turkey, one parcel per shipment. Creating the same order twice never creates two shipments and never uses two barcodes.
  • Your own barcode range: PTT assigns you a range of barcode numbers. The plugin takes the next free one for every shipment, keeps count, warns you when the range runs low and refuses new shipments when it is used up.
  • The label is Pano Market's generic label with the barcode: PTT has no label service, you print it yourself.
  • Cancelling a shipment that PTT has not taken yet. The cancellation counts only when PTT Kargo confirms it.
  • Tracking: Pano Market asks PTT Kargo for the state of every open shipment.
  • Test mode against the PTT Kargo test services.

What it does not do

  • No live price quote: PTT Kargo publishes no price service, so a shipping method uses the rate tables of Pano Market.
  • No tracking webhook: the carrier offers none, state comes from polling.
  • A barcode that was used is never given back, not even for a cancelled shipment.

Verification level

Unverified: this plugin has not been tested against a PTT Kargo account. Its request and answer formats were written from the service description and checked only with sample answers of the same form.

Setup

  1. Install Pano Market, then this plugin, and open Market, Shipping, PTT Kargo in the panel.
  2. Enter your customer id and password, and choose the settlement mode of your contract.
  3. Enter the barcode range PTT assigned to you: the first and the last number, and the prefix, suffix and number of digits if your barcodes have them. Never enter numbers another system also uses.
  4. Fill in the sender address and the default parcel size.
  5. Press “Test connection”, then enable the carrier and bind a shipping method to its service.
