Shippo for Pano Market

Shippo is a multi-carrier shipping service. This plugin adds it as a shipping provider to Pano Market, which must be installed and running: it is a required dependency of this plugin.

What it supports

• Live shipping rates at checkout from the carriers on your Shippo account; the carriers that could not rate a parcel are listed separately.
• Rate calls can be billed by Shippo, so the plugin remembers a quote for a few minutes instead of asking again for the same parcel.
• Buying a label from the Pano panel: PDF, PNG or ZPL for thermal printers. A purchase is never made twice for one order.
• Requesting a refund for a label that has not been used.
• Tracking: Pano Market asks Shippo for the state of open shipments, and a tracking webhook (registered for you) makes it ask sooner.
• Customs declarations for international shipments, built from the order items.
• Test mode with a Shippo test token. One parcel per shipment.

Verification level

Unverified: this plugin has not been tested against a live or sandbox Shippo account. Its tracking handling was checked only with sample answers written from the documented protocol.

Setup

1. Install Pano Market, then this plugin, and open Market, Shipping, Shippo in the panel.
2. Paste the API token from the API page of your Shippo account: a test token (shippo_test_...) for trying it out, a live token (shippo_live_...) for real labels.
3. Fill in the sender address and the default parcel size.
4. Save: the tracking webhook is registered with Shippo for you when your store has a public HTTPS address. Shippo issues a webhook signing secret only on request; you may paste it into the form, but it is optional, because Pano Market always asks Shippo for the real state before it believes a notification.
5. Press “Test connection”, then enable the carrier and bind a shipping method to one of its services.
